September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month

Blood cancer is the fifth most common type of cancer and the 3rd biggest cancer killer in the UK. Get involved to help us make a difference to those affected by leukaemia and other blood cancers 

This Blood Cancer Awareness Month we will be sharing more information about leukaemia and other blood cancers, share stories of those affected, as well as supporter stories plus we will be highlighting the difference our vital work is making to those affected by leukaemia and other blood cancers.

This Blood Cancer Awareness month you can help us raise awareness and help raise crucial funds by getting involved by:

Raise awareness through social media

by sharing our Facebook postsTwitter posts and Instagram posts. Throughout September 2020, you can also use the hashtag: #BloodCancerAwarenessMonth to help spread the word and raise awareness of blood cancers.

Get involved to help raise key funds

You can also get involved by planning a fundraising initiative this September, such as one of our exciting virtual events or home-based activities. Do get in touch with us at hello@leukaemiauk.org.uk or 0207 299 0722 if you wish to discuss any ideas you may have for getting involved. Make a regular gift
