Leave a gift in your Will

We understand that your loved ones must always come first. Leaving a gift to Leukaemia UK after you have looked after those closest to you will create a wonderful legacy for future generations.

By remembering Leukaemia UK in this way, you will help make a lasting difference to those affected by blood cancers many years from now. Any gift, no matter how big or small, will enable us to continue our vital work by funding innovative research to find kinder, more effective treatments for leukaemia and blood cancer.

You can make a real, lasting difference to future families affected by leukaemia and other blood cancers.

Types of gifts to consider leaving in your Will

There is more than one way to leave a gift in your Will, and your choice will depend on your personal circumstances.

You may wish to:

  • include a percentage of your estate or your whole estate (Residuary gift)
  • leave a fixed sum (Pecuniary gift)

One of the advantages of leaving a share of your estate (residuary gift) to charity is that it doesn't lose value over time, and if you leave a proportion to us, you can still ensure other beneficiaries are provided for first.

Our legacy giving team is here to assist with any questions or queries you may have about leaving a gift in your Will to Leukaemia UK. You can reach us on 020 7299 0722 or by email [email protected]

If you have already decided to include a gift to Leukaemia UK, please ensure you have included the correct key information. This includes our name and address and our charity registration number.

  • Charity Name: Leukaemia UK
  • Address: Leukaemia UK, 52 Portland Place, Marylebone, London W1B 1NH
  • Charity number: (Registered as a charity in England and Wales) 1154856

Free Will services available to you

Leukaemia UK is pleased to offer a Free Will writing scheme, working in partnership with National Free Wills Network & Farewill.

Free Wills Network

We can put you in touch with a solicitor, local to you, who can help you make or amend a simple Will at no cost.

Farewill

You can write a simple Will online in the comfort of your own home in just 30 minutes, with live expert support by chat or call. This service is currently available for residents of England and Wales.

What to do if you have already included us in your Will?

You may have already included a gift in your Will for Leukaemia UK, and we thank you in advance for your generosity. We would appreciate it if you could let us know, as this helps us to plan for the future, and we would also welcome the opportunity to personally thank our generous supporters for their gifts.

You can let us know by either writing to us, at Leukaemia UK, 52 Portland Place, Marylebone, London W1B 1NH, or by email, at [email protected].

What do I do if I have already written a Will but would now like to include Leukaemia UK in it?

If this is the case, you have two options:

  • You can consider rewriting your Will to ensure it reflects your most current wishes
  • If you would prefer not to rewrite your Will, you may decide to write a codicil, which is an additional document to your Will

We recommend you have your Will or codicil written by a solicitor or professional Will-writing service to prevent any future legal issues.

Leukaemia UK is extremely grateful for your support. Regardless of the size of gift you consider leaving to us, this will be truly appreciated. For more information about including a Gift in your Will, please contact us on [email protected] or call us on 020 7299 0722.
