Fundraising through Facebook If you are on Facebook, you may create a Facebook Fundraiser to support our cause - all monies raised will go directly to Leukaemia UK. You may wish to do a 'socially distant' event at home and create a fundraiser for our cause and encourage friends and family to donate. Host a ‘Virtual Night out for Leukaemia UK’, use your Facebook to host or join a party with your friends. Create an event, share recipes, takeaway, drinks ideas, pictures and videos and make a small donation to our cause. You can select us as a charity to support within the group so everyone within the event group can donate to our cause should they wish - this is really simple to set up and you will be helping fund vital research into leukaemia and other blood cancers. Yoga/Pilates at home If you enjoy yoga or are a yoga teacher yourself, why not join or hold an online (YouTube or Instagram), donation-based class where people can donate to our cause. To make this both enjoyable for those taking part and successful for us, set a reasonable 'ticket' price or ask for a suggested donation. Bake Off! If you had already planned to organise a bake sale for us, please instead of cancelling just postpone until later on in the year. As soon as we are back in the office, we can send you materials to help you with your efforts. Why not team up with friends and family and host a 'Virtual bake off' - if you can locate baking ingredients in the shops, why not have a little, friendly competition and see who really is the best cook in your group. Online Quiz If you are a regular quiz participant or just fancy testing your general knowledge then why not organise a virtual online quiz. Your can design a quiz, set a date and time, send invites electronically to family and friends to 'join you' via a video link (i.e. WattsApp or Messenger). You can set up a fundraising page on our website and ask participants to make a donation to our cause to participate. Send a Leukaemia UK e-card Want to send a loved one a greeting card?
