Get involved with Cartwheel for a Cure
We’re inviting schools, clubs and communities to get involved. Cartwheel your way and raise money for life-changing research.
Whether it’s in the garden, at your club or in the playground, let us know how you’d like to get involved — every cartwheel counts.
Lucy Musgrave launched the Cartwheel for a Cure campaign to raise vital funds and awareness for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). And now she’s asking everyone to join her – to cartwheel, move for joy and support life-saving research.
I launched Cartwheel for a Cure to use my own joyful movement as a force for good. And now I’m inviting you – young, old, able-bodied and those with disabilities – to challenge yourself, get your friends and family involved, or bring together your community group to find your movement for joy and donate to Leukaemia UK.
Lucy Musgrave OBE
We want to see as many different types of cartwheels and movements as possible! Whether that’s a cartwheel, a cart-twirl, a climbing wall cartwheel or any similar movement that sparks joy we’d love to see it – the more creative the better!
Have a go yourself or bring together your school, club or community group and move for joy. Because when we move together, those small moments of joy can turn into something truly powerful.
Film it, share it, and help raise vital funds.
Let’s get cartwheeling: Here’s how to take part
- Let us know you’d like to get involved by filling in the short form below. One of our friendly team will be in touch.
- Set up your fundraising page, so everyone can chip in and help research into AML (don’t worry, we can help you do this too!)
- Grab as many friends as you can and get cartwheeling – whether you want to donate per cartwheel, as a group or just fundraise as much as you can
If you’re posting your event on social media don’t forget to tag @LeukaemiaUK and @Cartwheelforacure
So let’s get creative, get cartwheeling and have a great time helping fund life-saving research.
