September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month Blood cancer is the fifth most common type of cancer in the UK. 40,000 people are diagnosed with a blood cancer in the UK each year.During the course of Blood Cancer Awareness Month we will be sharing supporter stories and highlighting the difference our work is making to families affected by leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancers.
