Margarita joined Leukaemia UK in 2016 and has worked in the charity sector for fifteen years, having moved on from a career in the financial sector. With extensive fundraising, marketing and communications experience in both national and smaller health charities, Margarita has been instrumental in transforming our charity.

Together with our CEO, Margarita led on the charity's rebrand in 2017. Over the past three years Margarita has successfully led on raising the charity's profile, reach and awareness which resulted in its income being doubled since its rebrand. One of Margarita's key skills is the ability to identify, review and lead on opportunities and best practice which help reach and exceed charitable objectives. 

Margarita is in charge of developing and leading on Leukaemia UK's communications (including digital), marketing, fundraising and stewardship strategy - ensuring those affected by blood cancer are at the heart of all of our work.
