Margarita joined Leukaemia UK in 2016 and has worked in the charity sector for 15 years, following a career in the financial sector. With extensive fundraising, marketing and communications experience in national health charities, Margarita has been instrumental in transforming our charity.

Together with our CEO, Margarita spearheaded the charity's rebrand in 2017. Over the past three years, Margarita has successfully led on raising the charity's profile, reach and awareness which resulted in its income doubling since its rebrand. One of Margarita's key skills is the ability to identify, review and take the lead on opportunities and best practice which help reach and exceed charitable objectives. 

Margarita is in charge of developing and leading on Leukaemia UK's communications (including digital), marketing, fundraising and stewardship strategy - ensuring those affected by blood cancers are at the heart of all of our work.
