This isn't my story it is the story of an amazing funny caring man-Gavin Jones. In January 2015 Gavin was diagnosed with leukaemia. He had a very positive outlook and a fantastic network of family and friends to help him with his fight and in July 2015 Gavin got the news we all wanted as he was in remission. Shortly before he had become ill Gavin had got his dream job working at a vets and was working to become a veterinary nurse as animals where his joy having a great selection at home. He was planning his future and when he could get back to work to continue his dream. That's when the next blow landed in August 2015 Gavin started to get severe twitching in his legs and after different checks and scans he was diagnosed with a lymphoma in his brain. Gavin took on this new fight with the same positive attitude as before and began treatment. The treatment for the brain tumour didn't go as well as we all hoped but the worst was to come when just before Christmas 2015 Gavin was given the devastating news that the leukaemia had returned and the doctors where running out of options. He had breaks from hospital to spend Christmas and New year with loved ones then finally came home in January 2016 where he passed away surrounded by those closest to him at the age of 28. You are so sadly missed Gavin by all who knew you and where taken far too soon. Let's try and find better ways to fight this awful illness to help others in the future. Xx
