On the 28th of September 2010 my beautiful little cousin lost her battle to Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

Our families angel flew high and was set free of her battle with Leukaemia.

I remember sitting in my room being told the news by my dad and as a family we broke down, I was given the opportunity to see her a lot and was able to build a bond with my cousin who unfortunately I won’t get to see develop into the amazing and strong woman that her Mum is, but I know she’s watching over us and is proud of the strength we have as a family.

On Sunday the 2nd of October 2022 I will be running the London Marathon in memory of Ava Grace and her 12th anniversary and to raise money for Leukaemia UK. The goal is to raise awareness for this awful disease which nobody should have to suffer from, the donations will hopefully fund the ability to find a cure and stop the suffering of so many people battling with it each and every day.

I will be doing other events throughout the year for the same charity but this will be the main event.

This ones for you little cousin I wish more than anything in the world you could be there with us in different circumstances but I know for a fact you’ll be there rooting for us with all the other angels.

We love you.
