A deal has been struck to let the NHS offer children an expensive new cancer therapy that has been called the most exciting treatment advance for decades.

'We are excited at this breakthrough in the treatment for childhood leukaemia. CAR-T cell therapy gives those children who do not respond to chemotherapy treatment a real chance of a long term cure.
